Mobile e-commerce app — 2024
BazaarBox
A complete e-commerce app built with Flutter. Shoppers browse products, add them to a cart and check out, and store owners can register a store and manage it from a dashboard. Sign-in and data sync run on Firebase.
- 13screens
- 4state providers
The goal
One mobile codebase that covers the whole shopping journey for customers and gives sellers a place to run their own store.
What I built
Shopping flow
Landing, home and category screens lead into product details, a cart, checkout and an order confirmation screen.
Accounts
Sign-up and login with Firebase Authentication, including Google sign-in, and a settings screen.
Stores
Store registration and a store dashboard, so sellers can set up and manage a shop inside the same app.
Data and state
Products and stores are saved in Firebase Realtime Database, which the app reads and writes over its REST API, and Riverpod providers manage authentication, cart, products and stores.
The stack
- App
- FlutterDartRiverpod
- Backend
- Firebase AuthenticationFirebase Realtime DatabaseGoogle Sign-In
The outcome
- The shopping flow from landing page to an order confirmation screen.
- Seller tools in the same app: store registration and a dashboard.
Checkout is a demo: it ends on a confirmation screen, no payment is taken and the order is not saved.
Don't take my word
Anyone can write “it works”. This checks the code for real, right now, from a server, and shows exactly what it finds.
